Before you leave
- Confirm pickup time and address with your booking reference.
- Carry ID, tickets and temple or hotel bookings.
- Keep a charged phone and a power bank.
For the road
- Carry water and light snacks, especially with children.
- Plan comfort stops every couple of hours.
- Tell the driver about any stops you want on the way.
For hill roads
On ghat roads such as Ooty and Kodaikanal, carry a light jacket, travel in daylight and keep motion-sickness remedies handy if you need them.
